Welcome to RESQ+ Emergency Response System ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy with a PRIVACY-FIRST approach. This Privacy Policy explains our minimal data collection practices and how we respect your personal information when you use our mobile application.

🔒 Core Privacy Principle: We do NOT collect personal data (names, photos, medical information, insurance details). All your emergency profile information is stored LOCALLY on YOUR device, encrypted and secure.

⚠️ Important: RESQ+ is an emergency response support application and should not replace professional emergency services. Always call local emergency numbers (Police, Ambulance, Fire) in life-threatening situations.

2. What We DO NOT Collect

We are committed to your privacy. Here is what we will NEVER collect, store, or transmit:

Personal Identifiable Information: Names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses
Medical Information: Medical history, allergies, medications, blood type, insurance details
Photos & Images: Profile photos, ID photos, medical images
Location Data: Your GPS coordinates, location history, or team tracking data
Emergency Contacts: Contact names, phone numbers, or any relationship details
AI Conversations: Your medical consultations or conversations with the AI Medical Nurse

3. Local Device Storage (You Only)

The following data is stored ONLY on your device and is NEVER uploaded to any server:

Emergency Profile: Medical info, blood type, allergies, medications, emergency contacts
Personal Settings: Language preferences, app configuration, theme settings
Team Data: Team names, member info, shared locations (only when active)
Game Progress: Badges, achievements, training history

4. What We DO Collect (Anonymous Analytics)

To improve RESQ+ and save more lives every second, we collect ONLY anonymous usage statistics:

Feature Usage: Which features are used (e.g.: SOS activations, AI Nurse queries, Game sessions)
Technical Data: App version, device type (Android version), crash reports
Performance Metrics: Response times, load speeds, app stability
Language Preference: Languages used to improve translations

Important: All collected data is anonymous, cannot identify individuals, and is used solely to improve app functionality and performance.

5. App Permissions

RESQ+ requests the following permissions to provide emergency features:

Camera: For AI Nurse image analysis and emergency recording
Location: For Team GPS tracking and finding nearby hospitals/police
Storage: To save your emergency profile (locally, encrypted)
SMS: To send SMS alerts to your emergency contacts
Phone: For quick dialing emergency services (1669)
Internet: For AI Nurse, government alerts, and team sync
Notifications: For team alerts and emergency broadcasts

You can revoke permissions anytime in Android settings. Some features may not work without necessary permissions.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your local data:

Encryption: All local medical data is encrypted using AES-256
Secure Transmission: HTTPS/TLS only for server communication
No Cloud Storage: Your personal data never leaves your device
Open Source Review: Code base available for community security audits

7. Third-Party Services

RESQ+ uses the following third-party services (anonymous data only):

Google Analytics: Anonymous app usage statistics
Firebase Crashlytics: Crash reports to improve stability
OpenAI API: For AI Medical Nurse (no personal data, medical queries only)
Thailand Government API: Official disaster alerts (public data)

These services do not receive any personal data and follow GDPR/CCPA standards.

8. Children's Privacy

RESQ+ is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have data from a child, contact us and we will delete it immediately.

9. Your Rights

Because we don't collect personal data, you always have full control of your information:

Access: All your data is already on your device (Settings > Emergency Profile)
Delete: Delete your profile anytime from app settings
Export: Export your profile via QR code or CSV
Uninstall: Deleting the app removes all local data

10. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy. Changes will be posted in the app with the revision date. Continued use means you accept the new policy.
